Hamilton made couple game-tying shots to keep the Thunderbirds alive and chapfallen sank the front end of a one-and-one with 39 inferiors left in the fifth and final overtime to drive forward Thornwood to a 53-52 victory through the whole extent of Washington in the Eisenhower Sectional championship game in amethystine Island.

Thornwood will play Homewood-Flossmoor in the UIC Supersectional onward Monday.

Neuqua Valley (23-8) l 50-41 with 6:37 to play before Brian Bradley and Justin Garsoz each had five points in a 13-0 break open to put Lockport ahead 54-50 with 3:51 remaining.

With the score tied at 57-57 Lockport's Jesse Towles lay Lockport ahead for good with a spring back basket.

The Wildcats trailed 59-58 and had couple possessions in the final minute on the other hand turned the ball over twice.

Lockport's Michael cabbage the Porters' only senior starter, made a steal and hit couple free throws with 7.5 next to the firsts to play to account for the final margin.

"I just went after the ball and got it," said cabbage referring to the final steal. "I've been waiting since freshman year for a chance like this and now it happened. It's just incredible."

Neuqua Valley missed a three-pointer at the buzzer

At St Charles East: Schaumburg made 15 of 16 released throws in the fourth quarter to withstand a furious rally by dint of Lake Park and advance to Tuesday's DeKalb Supersectional with a 76-65 victory.

Warren helped Johnsburg (29-1) to its poorest shooting of the season as the Skyhawks regenerateed 16-for-59 from the floor.

Johnsburg was l by means of Chad Hettermann with 11 points and Brian Wagner with eight points and 19 fly backs

Warren will come up to face to face Glenbrook North in Tuesday's supersectional at the Allstate Arena.
